The change in seasons, falling leaves, the chill in the air and a Bridal Shower! Our Autumn Leaves Bridal Shower Theme sets the perfect tone for a Fall Bridal Shower. The dark brown background and the vibrant hues of orange and red leaves have you dreaming of a cozy fireplace and an intimate Sunday Brunch Shower. Erin and Jonathan wanted just that, an intimate shower.
The food was simple for this shower. We used an Ivory Linen Table cloth with beige and burnt orange burlap as accents. White dishes gave it a clean simple look and the assorted baskets from Home Goods were placed differently across the back of the table to add different levels for the beverages and favors.
Since it was a Sunday Brunch we kept it simple. However, just because it was simple doesn’t mean it wasn’t delicious. You can find this recipe for the Turkey Brie Cranberry Sandwich here: www.foodnetwork.co.uk/recipes/pan-fried-turkey-brie-and-cranberry-sandwich.html
The Pumpkin Cheese Ball was perfect for the table. We added a celery stalk as the stem. You can find the recipe for this here: http://all recipes.com/recipe/easy-cheese-ball-ii/. Assorted crackers were placed around the cheese ball.
The veggies and dip were really easy to make. We purchased shot glasses from World Market. Ranch dressing was placed on the bottom and carrots and celery were cut a little larger than the glass. Then we put three tomatoes through a cocktail stirrer.
The apple cider punch was delish and so easy to make. You can find the recipe here: http://www.bng.com/recipe/drinks/apple-cider-punch
We embellished the mason jars with twine, leaf cut-outs and a gold straw.
Thank You from Trader Joes for providing all of our yummy ingredients. These cupcakes were not made from scratch, however the cinnamon frosting was. We took our leaf cut-outs and hot glued them to toothpicks. A cool trick is to place the cupcakes in our Autumn Leaves Cupcake Wrappers, then add the frosting.
What is a Bridal Shower without some favors? Your choice of favors was an easy set up since this was not a formal shower with place settings at a table.
Erin and Jonathan love sweets, so we offered our Two Inch Lollipop Favors. These lollipop favors come with a white display box so we wrapped the box in burlap and put holes through so they could stand up.
We love these Personalized Gold Favor Tins . We filled them up with Reese’s Pieces . Did you notice our Apple Jar Candles, they smelled amazing and were a great addition to the table as well as scattered leaves and pinecones.
We filled our Autumn Leaves Cello Bags with our Autumn Leaves Hershey Kisses. Perfect inexpensive DIY favor.
Lastly our Custom Printed Favor Boxes were a great way to pass out our Chocolate Acorns
Speaking of Chocolate Acorns, these were so easy to make. We purchase oatmeal cookies form Trader Joes and attached them to a hershey kiss and then topped them with a chocolate chip… They were bite size yummy goodness. Our Personalized Place Cards were a great way to let our guests know what all the items were on the table.
We took a piece of cardboard and wrapped in burlap. We had some material left over fabric from the table setting so we place pictures of Erin and Jonathan on the fabric with clear adhesive spray. The whole project cost less than $5.00. Besides the Apple Cider Drink we offered water as well using our Personalized Water Bottle Wraps.
To cap off the evening, we gave a special toast and gift to Erin and Jonathan. Mikasa Champagne Glasses and a Personalized Bottle of Wilson Creek Almond Champagne. We decorated the wall with our Personalized Wall Art .
Once the food was gone, we spread out the table with all of our favors and yummy deserts.
We congratulate Erin and Jonathan on their upcoming nuptials. We wish all of the brides celebrating their Fall Bridal Showers the best of luck.
Cheers from Candles and Favors.
